So I saw a tweetversation amongst my scarflet sisters about watching Monte Carlo together. I admit I am a fan of chic flicks, and I like Selena Gomez especially in Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place. So I really wanted to watch this movie. I usually would watch movies with my hubs, but yeah this would be torture for him, so good thing I had these awesome ladies that I could tag along with! So Shea booked tickets at GSC Gardens, was my first time watching a movie there, and wow, really loved it, the seats where oh so comfy! Ami even dozed off a bit! Aha.However, I did drag along Pitt, because the movie was at 9:20pm, and I don't wanna be driving alone home. I made sure he had a friend along to accompany him while he waited for me and so that I would be guilt free! And before he left to grab something to eat, as usual I made him snap a group shot of us.
This was snapped by Shea after the movie right before we did our mwah mwah mwahs air cheek kisses. There's something about this photo I really like, the setting and the color scheme is somewhat retro. Oh and the best thing was that we didn't plan to wear such a color palette, it was really a coincidence that we had similar tones! Sehati sejiwa namanya.
This is the adorable and beautiful Fira. I noticed how flowy her palazzo pants were and made her woosh around to snap some photos. Really liked how this turned out, looks like a long skirt. Thinking of getting one myself. Looks really good on her.
My first time ever trying out the turban style. Oh and thanks Shea for snapping this! I've always wanted to try this turban style since I was 15, that was way back in 1997. Probably most of you were still in diapers. I was interested the turban style when I found out about Erykah Badu in this free compilation CD I got together with a music magazine, I think it was called 'Q'. So anyway, one of her songs was in it. I fell in love with her voice and music, I had to look her up. Was then attracted to how she wrapped up her head. I only tried it at home, thought it'd look too weird going out. Then seeing Ami, Fira and of course Yuna wrapping their heads tempted me further to try it out myself. And now, finally I get to. It took me a while to figure out how to fashion the turban but still covering my chest. Then I saw the awesome Aishah Amin doing it, and used a scarf over her chest, and was like hey I can do this too! So yup, this is the result! The pants and shoes are the same ones I wore in 'serious cat'. Ze dress is yet again from my fav bundle/reject/vintage stall in Giant, for only RM15. And the bag was from Gerbang Malam during my trip to Ipoh, Perak.
So there you have it. I really love going out with the girls, because this is when I really go all out and dress up fancy. Without them, I honestly wouldn't dare stepping out of the house looking like this! With them I'm feel like I'm a protective bubble. Without them I'd feel vulnerable, and start feeling awkward and uncomfortable worrying that people might stare and start being a fashion police, and would prolly tweet something like "I saw this girl wearing the turban and a trenchcoat, bajet duk Europe lah tu #fashionvictim" Yikes!!
Okay, last two bonus photos. This one right below was shot on the way back, when I saw Fira & Ami walking past the mannequins on display. And the idea struck me, hey this would make a neat shot. Then Shea offered to snap the photos so I could be in it too. Fira has the best pose, Ami has the best look/stare, and I totally failed.

Requested my husband to snap a portrait of myself to show the details of my head wrap. Really liked the picture so I thought I'd mess around with in in Photoshop, thus the extremely smooth skin. If only my real skin was like this. Wuhoo. Alritey, hope you enjoyed this post and ze picturez! Mwahs mwahs mwahs air cheek kisses for ya'all!
