Sunday was supposed to be a WARDROBE ATTACK session. But well, it was my fault that it had to be postponed. I didn't sleep the whole night, and decided to take a short nap, which eventually ended up being a loooooong nap. Was supposed to be there around after lunch, about 2ish, and I woke up 2 hours later!!!! Sigh... Hopefully we'll come up with a video sometime this week. Insya-Allah.
Then on that day, the girls planned to meet at One Utama, and Yanny mentioned over her Twitter that she'll be there for dinner. And thought that I'd drop by as well. Which I did but waaaaay later during their dessert session at Tutti Frutti.
I was a tad nervous, as I felt like I was barging into some random crowd, as this is my first time meeting up with these girls on a planned outing. Among themselves, they've already been out together a couple of times, or at least have been mingling socially online. So it was a bit awkward for me. Plus the fact that they were all so gorgeous and oh so fashionable!
But immediately they did make me feel comfortable and at home and not so much a stranger. I'm looking forward to more meet up sessions like this. So, reading Shea's blog entry, I found that they decided to form somewhat of a club for fellow hijabis, which is called Scarflet! Which I think is a lovely idea. Would love to be part of this family as well.

This was at One Utama, the shops were all closed by this time, which was uh, 11pm. Me and hubster was waiting to watch Gulliver's Travel. Explains why there's nobody around other than that guy behind me. Ahaha. So wearing my 8 eyelet Doc Martens. a baseball shirt, I just love em, pants from Forever 21, on the inside wore a long tank to cover my behind since the shirt was short, one the head, a creamish, brownish pashmina with a jersey long neck inner. And my nerd frames which I think makes my nose look big.
I think I'm almost running out of what to wear. Really would love to go shopping, but I've got no moolah. Which is great actually, makes me get all crazy and creative trying to use what I already have, mixing and matching them to come up with a new look! Just like dressing up a doll.
I remember I used to wrap my Barbie dolls with whatever material I found in the house, from handkerchiefs, to ribbons and even socks! And when I got tired of them, I'd give them a haircut. And they all ended up looking like Sinead O Connor.

macam best jer..bole join? Wink!!
